Founder of New Perspectives Counseling and Rise Up!
It is my heart and passion to help others find purpose, peace, and joy—even in the midst of life’s challenges. I became a therapist after walking through many trials of my own, so I deeply understand what it means to choose life and joy, even when circumstances feel heavy. My greatest desire is to help people make that same choice: to live fully rather than letting symptoms, past pain, or difficult circumstances define their lives.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I specialize in walking alongside individuals, couples, and families through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and unexpected life transitions. I integrate evidence-based therapies—including somatic therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness practices—with spiritual integration, tailoring each session to support healing of the mind, body, and soul.
I also offer small group sessions, virtual counseling, and educational workshops, and I enjoy creating opportunities to speak and teach on mental health topics, guiding others toward understanding, resilience, and transformation.
My mission is to empower people to reclaim their story, cultivate connection, and embrace a life of meaning, health, and hope. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and wholeness.

I’m a licensed therapist and licensed school counselor with experience
in the clinical and school settings. While I welcome and am honored to
work with clients of all ages, I’m especially passionate about
supporting individuals as they navigate life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and
relationship challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and
culturally responsive, creating a safe space for growth and
self-discovery. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities,
and it’s important to me that you feel truly seen, heard, and accepted
in our work together. Through counseling, we’ll explore ways to gain insight, build
resilience, and develop practical coping skills.
Together, we’ll identify the barriers that may be getting in the way of the life you want to live
—and take steps toward healing and meaningful change.
